The Weepies，一只由Deb Talan和Steve Tannen組成的流行民謠二重奏，其作品旋律簡單，音樂流暢，音韻恬淡，清新自然，作品有男女獨唱，亦有男女聲混唱。
2005年12月，The Weepies錄制完成第二張專輯“Say I Am You”，并于2006年3月正式發(fā)行，并憑借這張專輯被主流音樂市場所接受。專輯在2006年2月曾經(jīng)在8個國家的“iTunes下載次數(shù)最多的Folk專輯榜”上攀升到首位，而單曲"World Spins Madly On"也在美國的iTunes Folk歌曲榜上獲得了冠軍。

專輯的名字"Say I Am You"引自一位13世紀(jì)作家Jelaluddin Rumi的作品，這位作家以創(chuàng)作帶有強烈信仰、熱情愛意的詩歌著稱，所以這張專輯的主題毫無疑問就是愛情。有些時候，愛情會隱藏起來或者丟失，有時愛情也會是虛假的，但是最終一定會有一種愛情被發(fā)現(xiàn)、被呵護。
