答：我們注意到了有關(guān)報(bào)道。4月30日，一名乘墨西哥飛中國(guó)的AM098直航航班來(lái)華的墨西哥公民在香港被確診感染甲型H1N1流感病毒。為了防控甲型H1N1流感疫情，維護(hù)人民群眾健康和衛(wèi)生安全，中方對(duì)該航班旅客采取了必要的醫(yī)學(xué)隔離措施。有關(guān)措施并非針對(duì)墨西哥公民，沒有歧視性。這一問題是純粹的衛(wèi)生檢疫問題。中方理解墨方對(duì)其在華公民權(quán)益的關(guān)切，希望墨方從共同應(yīng)對(duì)疫情的大局出發(fā)，對(duì)中方采取的必要措施給予充分理解，客觀、冷靜處理這一問題。
A: We have taken note of relevant reports. On April 30, a Mexican citizen taking Flight AM098 from Mexico to China was confirmed in Hong Kong to be infected by A-H1N1 virus. In order to put the virus under control and safeguard people's health and hygienic safety, China took necessary quarantine measures towards the passengers on the flight. The measures are non-discriminative and not targeted at Mexican citizens. This is simply a hygienic inspection issue. We understand Mexico's concern over the rights and interests of its citizens in China, but we hope Mexico could proceed from the overall interest of joint response to the disease, fully understand the necessary measures we have taken, and handle the issue in an objective and calm manner.
