I am one of those people who loves to learn. The Internet has become an amazing tool in the quest for knowledge. I could spend 10 hours a day just?perusing?through Wikipedia. But watching?tutorials?on YouTube is also fun. The Internet has become a great way to study both our local culture and observe how the international culture has changed. I think that in 20 years we as a species will be closer ever than before thanks to?global connectivity.

The Internet is my friend. Because of my cell phone, I am?never more than five feet away from?it during the day. This might sound sad, but I don't see my belief in the Internet as a social cry for help, rather I see it as a way of being able to see past people's outward appearances and make quick long lasting friendships over thousands of miles. There is nothing?tangible?to the Internet nor does there have to be. Just by logging onto this website I can answer hundreds of questions a day, spread the accumulated knowledge around and possibly make someone smile?from afar.

Could I live without the Internet? Of course I could, but it would be like losing a?beloved friend. And after tasting it, I doubt any of us would want to go back. But if we had to, we would. Perhaps we would end up finding pen pals or something, like they did before. We have always been searching for the answers to our?mundane?daily lives, the Internet has made it possible to live the life of?an anonymous investigator, a closest RPG geek, change our sexual identities with the application of our profiles, and we share it with our friends, the world, and we all revel in it, don't we?
