樂隊(duì)名稱：Linkin Park(前身為XERO，曾用Hybrid Theory)，音譯為“林肯公園”(意譯“聯(lián)合公園”)。所屬國(guó)籍是美國(guó)，1996年組建，慣長(zhǎng)風(fēng)格是Alternative Metal(另類金屬)、Post-Grunge(后車庫(kù))、New metal(新金屬)、 Rap-Metal(說唱金屬) 。吉他手布萊德說：“大家對(duì)我們最大的誤解就是以為我們只是個(gè)搖滾樂隊(duì)，我們認(rèn)為我們的音樂是由很多類型交錯(cuò)而成的，一種伴著我們六個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)的綜合體。”這個(gè)想法體現(xiàn)于首張專輯名《混合理論》，林肯公園認(rèn)為“混合理論”就是樂隊(duì)努力的目標(biāo)。樂風(fēng)融入重金屬的另類搖滾、嘻哈節(jié)奏、炫麗的電子樂，成為了搖滾樂e世代的精神堡壘。
Iridescent（彩虹）是林肯公園第4部專輯《A Thousand suns》中的12首歌,2011年4月被定為電影《變形金剛3》的主題曲，并將重新拍攝MV。
在林肯公園的官方網(wǎng)站上，樂隊(duì)發(fā)表了一份聲明，該聲明中寫道：“《Iridescent》這首歌曲在我們的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)表演中是觀眾最喜歡的歌曲之一，所以我們很高興導(dǎo)演Michael Bay能夠使用我們的這首歌曲?！?br> 《Iridescent》收錄在林肯公園《A Thousand Suns》專輯中。在前兩集的變形金剛系列電影中，分別使用了林肯公園的《What I've Done》和《New Divide》作為主題曲。邁克爾.貝在接受采訪時(shí)說：“上兩集的變形金剛電影當(dāng)中所使用的都是林肯公園樂隊(duì)的暢銷單曲，《Iridescent》也會(huì)獲得同樣的成功?！?/p>
