Hodge's guest graciously expressed his appreciation of the host's hospitality. In particular, he really enjoyed the selection available for vegetarian dishes. As the interior designer was a vegetarian, he would definitely prefer dishes without meat. In most restaurants, however, the vegetarian dish selections could be rather limiting. From his experience, usually less than twenty percent of the dishes would be vegetarian. Once, he had been to a restaurant where only a single main course was vegetarian, all the other main courses contained meat. At the time, it was not really his choice to pick that restaurant.
