1.
Ben-Listen, could I... ask you something? Will you marry me?

Ben-A simple "yes" would do.
Amy-You know?
Ben-I know that I love you.
Amy-You know... about me?
Ben-Uh, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I know that I love you and I wanna marry you.
Amy-Why did this all have to happen to me?
Ben-Well, I know you could have fallen in love with someone who's more deserving, but I'm not that bad. Don't cry.

2.As far as Ricky and the whole rest of the world is concerned, that's my baby and that you're my wife.
——as far as…be concerned
——that’s my baby and that you’re my wife 這是一個(gè)由that is引導(dǎo)的有兩個(gè)表語(yǔ)的主系表結(jié)構(gòu)的句子。第二個(gè)that 引導(dǎo)的從句只是作為主語(yǔ)that 和系動(dòng)詞is 的表語(yǔ)。

3.I deserve that fake smile.

4.I... I don't understand the rules. I don't understand why they have rules. I don't understand why guys put on a bunch of pads and smack into each other just to get a ball around a field.
——a bunch of pads A bunch of 很常用,例如a bunch of friends

5.Look, you know how you always wanna be treated older? Like an adult? Well, now... now's a good time to grow up a little bit and realize that things don't always work out like you want them to.
——work out可以解決

6.
-I'm not asking for your permission or your opinion. I'm just letting you know.
-Fine. As long as he doesn't stay here while you're gone...'cause if he is, I'm staying somewhere else.
眀ecause he is省略了 here,如果要和前句更加對(duì)仗,可以用if he does (stay here),因?yàn)榍熬涫钦f(shuō) as long as he doesn’t stay here。

7.People lie. They tell lies to make life more interesting when the truth would probably be more interesting than the lie.
