本期樂隊Golden Smog重點人物包括：為90年代另類搖滾打出頭陣，葛萊美音樂獎於1991年初設(shè)立「另類搖滾」獎項，隨即獲得提名的The Replacements鼓手Chris Mars；在90年初期發(fā)表關(guān)懷失蹤兒童的感人作品“Runaway Train”走紅國際，成名於Grunge聲浪高漲年代的Soul Asylum吉他手Dan Murphy；散發(fā)一身才氣，手邊有數(shù)個樂團讓他盡情發(fā)揮，最受矚目的將另類鄉(xiāng)村樂引領(lǐng)至全新?lián)u滾領(lǐng)域Wilco之靈魂支柱Jeff Tweedy；今年步入樂壇第20個年頭，說到另類鄉(xiāng)村搖滾樂派就絕對不能不提The Jayhawks之電吉他/主唱Gary Louris與貝斯手Marc Perlman；結(jié)合了 Beatles式完美四人合聲法和60年代The Kinks吉他和弦，孕育自七十年代的Power-Pop樂團Big Star鼓手Jody Stephens；燃起熊熊烈火漫天延燒Post-Punk風潮，同取藍調(diào)/鄉(xiāng)村/民謠等元素的好評樂團Run Westy Run之Kraig Johnson…等人都曾是樂團之一員。
1992年成軍，僅發(fā)行《On Golden Smog》(1992)、《Down By The Old Mainstream》(1996)以及《Weird Tales》(1998)等三張專輯，睽違八年之久，結(jié)合Gary、Marc、Kraig、Dan、Jeff等五人推出全新大碟《Another Fine Day》
