行云流水說(shuō)英文:什么時(shí)候用[r]連讀?
之前兩篇文章我們介紹了元音之間連讀的兩種情況:
本文我們接著學(xué)習(xí)元音間連讀的第三種情況:
Linking the vowels with a slight /r/ sound
用輕微的/r/連讀元音
當(dāng)前后兩個(gè)單詞的末、首音節(jié)分別都是元音,而且前面的元音是/a:/, /?:/, /?:/或/?/結(jié)尾的(比如 /?/, /u?/, /e?/, /??/等),在后面單詞的元音前面加一個(gè)微弱的/r/音,把兩個(gè)詞連接起來(lái)。比如,far away和for us。
這里用于連讀的/r/的發(fā)音比在單詞中音節(jié)起始處的/r/要輕微的多,舌頭只是輕快地彈一下。比如get rid of, hear it兩處的/r/是有明顯差別的,應(yīng)用的時(shí)候要注意區(qū)分。
其實(shí)在中文里也有這種r的連讀哦,在帶了兒化音的字后面就會(huì)出現(xiàn)了。比如“去哪兒???”會(huì)在啊的前面加個(gè)r的音,大家想想看,有木有?
【情景對(duì)話】
It's four o'clock in the afternoon. John is showing Mary around the company.
John: Here is the meeting room.
Mary: Is this where I had my interview?
John: Could be.
Mary: And…where is the toilet?
John:?That door over there leads to the ladies’.
four o'clock???? /?f?? r??kl?k/
here is?????????? /?h?? r?z/
where I????????? /we? ra?/
where is???????? /?we? r?z/
door over?????? /?d?: r??v?/?
