Hassle means a bother or a problem requiring work and energy to overcome. What is the hassle? Why is it a hassle? What will be the outcome?

范例1：

If Doug were to get into the Club 1997, he would have to do so right when the club opened or when it was approaching closing time, just so he would not have to wait in line. Having his identification checked would be a hassle. Of course Doug had various identification cards with different aliases. He always preferred to remain in the shadows as much as possible. It did not necessarily mean the physical shadow of a shade somewhere away from the sun, although he would not mind that either.
