The film poster is in many ways a quite young and transient art form compared to others. These days it seems that the film poster has lost a lot of the more creative and artistic part of its existence. Partly because most of the posters seem to follow the same template including a blown up picture of the face(s) of the actor(s) and simple but strong colours in the background.
