A couple go for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and order the "Chicken Surprise". The waiter brings the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot.

一堆夫婦去中餐館吃飯，點了一個“雞肉驚嚇”。服務(wù)員上菜了，拿上來一個鑄造的鐵罐。

Just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises slightly and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down.

正當(dāng)妻子準(zhǔn)備開動的時候，罐子的蓋子輕輕地升起來了一點，蓋子又落下去前她只看到兩只亮晶晶的小眼睛正四處看。

"Good grief, did you see that?" she asks her husband.

“天吶，你看到了嗎？”她問丈夫。

He hasn't, so she asks him to look in the pot. He reaches for it and again the lid rises, and he sees two little eyes looking around before it slams down.

丈夫沒有，于是妻子讓丈夫一直盯著這個罐子。他伸出手去，而蓋子又起來了，他也看到了那兩只亮晶晶的小眼睛。

Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening,and demands an explanation.

他不安地叫來了服務(wù)員，告訴了他看到的事情，要求一個解釋。

"Please sir," says the waiter, "what you order?" The husband replies, "Chicken Surprise."

“好的先生，”服務(wù)員說，“您點了什么？”丈夫回答：“雞肉驚嚇”

"Ah... so sorry," says the waiter, "I bring you Peeking Duck."

“啊…不好意思”服務(wù)員說，“我給您上的是北京烤鴨?！?/div>
