Senator-elect Scott Brown told Barbara Walters that he hopes Simon Cowell will have his daughter, Ayla, back on American Idol.

In an EXCLUSIVE “This Week” interview, Walters asked Brown about his daughter’s appearance as a contestant on the hit reality show in which Cowell called the aspiring singer’s performance “robotic” and “empty”.
