《西部世界》改編自1973年的同名電影，講述了一個名叫“西部世界”的未來樂園，在那里客戶們可以體驗任何犯罪或者被禁止的事情，而這個樂園也將成為人工意識的黎明。在E01S03中，機器人好像出了些故障，他們慢慢開始擁有自己的意識，泰迪與一位妓女談話的時候，伴隨著《In? dreams》這首歌，妓女好像慢慢回憶起了他們被制造的過程……
