1．表示比較的狀語(yǔ)從句
這類(lèi)從句都由than或as引起：
She likes Danny better than she likes me．
她喜歡丹妮勝過(guò)喜歡我。
He can run faster than I do．
他跑得比我快。
It is not so difficult as you think．
它沒(méi)有你想的那么困難。
She is not so energetic as she used to be．
她不像過(guò)去那樣充滿(mǎn)活力了。

有時(shí)許多詞省略，只剩下一個(gè)詞：
She is four years younger than me．
她比我小四歲。
It made him queerer than ever．
這使他變得比過(guò)去更古怪。
She was as much interested in music as ever．
她還是和過(guò)去一樣對(duì)音樂(lè)有興趣。
She is as clever as(she is) beautiful．

這類(lèi)從句多由as，as if，as though，like等引起：
He was allowed t do as he liked.

It swims on the sea floor just as its ancestors did．

I like the freedom to plan my day exactly as I want．

She acts as though she owns the place．
