A day out to the theme park, goes horribly wrong. 6 people have died and another 10? were injured when a space shuttle simulator plunged to the ground in China. Survivors say that they heard an explosion just before a power cut sent the shuttle to earth.

One witness, Mr Lam described the horror of what he saw: "All the cabins but the one we were sitting in were destroyed. Some people fell onto the rail and some fell onto the ground. Some people died in front of me and were just hanging dead in their seats."

The theme park's Vice General Manager Zheng Hongxia was quick to defend the safety procedures:" All the facilities are under daily, weekly and monthly maintenance. On this point, the details of the daily maintenance data and information have been held by the safety department."

The park has been shut temporarily while an investigation takes place.

目前，傷員已送往醫(yī)院救治，有關(guān)方面正在對(duì)相關(guān)責(zé)任人進(jìn)行調(diào)查，事故原因正在調(diào)查中。

目擊者說(shuō)：“有人骨頭上的肉都掉”了
在梅沙醫(yī)院，一位現(xiàn)場(chǎng)目擊者告訴記者，當(dāng)時(shí)，他們一行有40來(lái)人，正在排隊(duì)準(zhǔn)備進(jìn)入太空迷航娛樂(lè)項(xiàng)目大門(mén)。突然，聽(tīng)到里面發(fā)出一陣陣“砰砰”的巨大聲響，然后，電源突然被關(guān)閉，圓形的太空迷航娛樂(lè)也停止了轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)。這時(shí)，他們就估計(jì)出了大問(wèn)題。果然，他們看到一些受傷者從里面?zhèn)}惶地逃了出來(lái)，這些人有的身體部分表面的肉已經(jīng)脫落，都可以直接看見(jiàn)里面的骨頭了，而不少游客已經(jīng)直接死亡在椅子上了，情形相當(dāng)恐怖。據(jù)了解，死傷的游客都是外地人。

梅沙醫(yī)院的一名工人說(shuō)，當(dāng)時(shí)他正在梅沙醫(yī)院吃晚飯，然后就有醫(yī)生叫他過(guò)去幫忙抬“尸體”。“來(lái)了好多車(chē)，都不知道出什么事了，飯都沒(méi)吃完就過(guò)去了。”后來(lái)吃飯的工人全部來(lái)抬傷員。他說(shuō)，大多數(shù)傷勢(shì)都很?chē)?yán)重，有的下半身全是血，嘴里凄厲地呼叫。抬完之后，東部華僑城的保安就把這些工人全部趕出去，不讓他們進(jìn)了。一名工人說(shuō)，一輛運(yùn)傷員過(guò)來(lái)的車(chē)后半截車(chē)廂全是血，“這些車(chē)來(lái)來(lái)去去好多趟。”
