Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the death of the al-Qaida mastermind behind the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania is a significant blow to the terrorist group. Fazul Abdullah Mohammed was killed this week by Somali forces. The embassy bombing 13 years ago killed 224 people, including 12 Americans.
The huge Arizona forest fire that's claimed more than 30 homes could spread into New Mexico sometime today. The blaze has already blackened 639 square miles in eastern Arizona. Officials expect winds to pick up later today.
