New York Congressman Anthony Weiner is asking for a temporary leave of absence from Congress so he can get professional help. The married congressman has come under fire, even from fellow Democrats after he admitted sending explicit photos online to several women.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the death of the al-Qaida mastermind behind the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania is a significant blow to the terrorist group. Fazul Abdullah Mohammed was killed this week by Somali forces. The embassy bombing 13 years ago killed 224 people, including 12 Americans.

The huge Arizona forest fire that's claimed more than 30 homes could spread into New Mexico sometime today. The blaze has already blackened 639 square miles in eastern Arizona. Officials expect winds to pick up later today.

Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas is giving a stellar performance in the net during the Stanley Cup finals. But it could go for naught. He has allowed just six goals in five games against the Vancouver Canucks, but Boston faces elimination in Monday night's Game 6.
