There is an empty house across the tree house. Brother and Sister think about their new neighbors sometimes. Will they be young? Will they be friendly?
在樹房的對面有一所空房子。熊哥哥和熊妹妹有時候會想象他們的新鄰居。他們會是年輕人嗎？他們會很友好嗎？

“Look, our new neighbors are moving in. And they have cubs,” says Brother early one morning. “Any girls?” asks Sister. She runs to the window. She sees one boy and two girls.
“瞧，我們的新鄰居剛搬進來。他們還有孩子，”一天早晨熊哥哥說?！坝信?？”熊妹妹問。她跑去窗戶邊。她看到一個男孩和兩個女孩。

“Come on. Let’s go over and play,” says Brother. Mama stops them. “Mama, it’s Saturday. We don’t have to go to school,” says Sister. “We’ll go over later and welcome them,” says Mama.
“快來。我們去找他們玩吧，”熊哥哥說。熊媽媽攔住了他們?！皨寢?，今天是周六。我們不用去學校，”熊妹妹說?！拔覀円粫龠^去歡迎他們，”熊媽媽說道。

Papa looks unhappy. He says.“What are they doing here?” “What’s the matter, Papa? Don’t you like them?” asks Sister. “That’s not it. It’s just…it’s just that they are…different,” says Papa.
熊爸爸看起來不太高興。他說。“他們在干什么？”“怎么了，熊爸爸？難道你不喜歡他們嗎？”熊妹妹問?！安皇沁@么回事。只是……只是他們……跟我們不一樣，”熊爸爸說。

“Well, different or not,” says Mama, as they sit down for breakfast, “they are our new neighbors, and we are going to welcome them.”
“好吧，不管一樣還是不一樣，” 他們坐下吃早飯的時候，熊媽媽說，“他們是我們的新鄰居，我們要去歡迎他們?！?/div>

“Look! They are building a fence. Maybe they don’t want us to visit them,” says Papa.
“看?。∷麄冋谛迻艡?。也許他們不喜歡我們去拜訪，”熊爸爸說。

“I am sure there is a good reason,” says Mama. She puts a bow on a jar of honey. It is her present for the new neighbors.
