The 35th Session of the World Heritage Committee has been held in Paris.

This session will consider 42 applications of natural and cultural properties to decide whether or not to inscribe them into UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Representing the hopes of China, one of the two possible new entries is WuDa-LianChi, the volcanic fields in northeast Heilongjiang Province where five beautiful lakes lie connected.

And the other is the famous West Lake in Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China, is also a candidate to become a World Natural Heritage.

The session will conclude on June 29th.
