我總以為，在中國效率最高的會議要數(shù)學校召集的家長會。家長會完全符合“廉政建議”的要求，與會的家長絕不會像參加行業(yè)、單位的一些會議，先看看會議地點是不是設在風景旅游區(qū)，會后發(fā)不發(fā)紀念品之類，然后方?jīng)Q定是否參加。其他會議都難得準時，惟有家長會絕對正點召開。在家長會上，家長們個個全神貫注地傾聽、記錄，生怕漏掉一點內(nèi)容。不少會議都可列入可開可不開之列，但對于學校和家長而言，家長會則是必不可少的。

省詞譯法：原文中“ 與會的家長”，不少的考生把它翻譯成 the parents who attend the meeting ，其實翻了一個邏輯錯誤，因為后面提到“方?jīng)Q定是否參加”，說明參加不參加不一定，因此前面就不能講“已經(jīng)參加了”，所以“與會的家長”中“與會的”就不必翻譯了。
