Message on the International Human Solidarity Day

The world has achieved significant progress in human development over the past two decades. The global poverty rate fell by more than half. ?People are living longer and healthier lives, and are better educated.

在過去二十年里，全世界在人類發(fā)展方面取得了長(zhǎng)足進(jìn)展。全球貧窮率減半，人民壽命增長(zhǎng)，健康狀況改善，教育程度提高，相互聯(lián)系更密切。

Despite these and other advances, prosperity has not been shared by all. Inequalities, extreme poverty, unemployment, social exclusion and environmental degradation continue to be prominent features of societies around the world. Discrimination and prejudice remain major barriers to building inclusive societies. Many vulnerable social groups find their situation worsening. The impacts of climate change will fall most heavily on those who did least to cause the problem.

然而，雖然取得了這些進(jìn)展和其他進(jìn)展，卻不是人人都過上了繁榮生活。世界各地各國(guó)社會(huì)仍然可以明顯看到不平等、極端貧窮、失業(yè)、社會(huì)排斥和環(huán)境退化等問題。歧視和偏見仍然是建設(shè)包容社會(huì)的重大障礙。許多弱勢(shì)社會(huì)群體的狀況在惡化。對(duì)氣候變化問題責(zé)任最少的人受到這個(gè)問題的影響卻最大。

Solidarity is essential to address these gaps in sustainable development.

團(tuán)結(jié)是解決在可持續(xù)發(fā)展方面存在的這些問題的關(guān)鍵。

Leaving no one behind, promoting prosperity and ensuring inclusiveness and equality are core principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by world leaders in September 2015, and of the Paris Agreement on climate change adopted in December of that same year. As nations strive to uphold their promises and to meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mutual support will be crucial. Global problems require collective solutions. ?At a time of divisiveness on many key global issues, from armed conflict to forced migration, people need to turn toward each other in common cause, not away from each other in fear.

絕不讓任何一個(gè)人掉隊(duì)和讓所有人都過上繁榮生活是世界各國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人2015年9月通過的《2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程》和同年12月通過的氣候變化問題《巴黎協(xié)定》的核心原則。各國(guó)正在努力兌現(xiàn)承諾，實(shí)現(xiàn)17項(xiàng)可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標(biāo)，在這個(gè)過程中，各國(guó)必須相互支持。全球性問題需要集體解決辦法。在武裝沖突和被迫移民等許多關(guān)鍵全球問題上存在分歧，在這個(gè)時(shí)刻，人民應(yīng)該為了共同目標(biāo)，攜起手來，而不應(yīng)該因?yàn)榭謶侄嗷ケ硹墶?/div>

On International Human Solidarity Day, let us emphasize the role of human solidarity in building lives of dignity for all on a healthy planet. We must work together to achieve the SDGs and secure the future we want.

值此國(guó)際人類團(tuán)結(jié)日，我們要強(qiáng)調(diào)人類團(tuán)結(jié)在建設(shè)健康地球、確保每一個(gè)人的尊嚴(yán)方面的作用。我們必須共同努力，實(shí)現(xiàn)各項(xiàng)可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標(biāo)，確保我們希望的未來。
