這些形容詞都含有“遠的”之意。
distant : 語意最強，強調(diào)距離。
That is a distant country.（那是一個遙遠的國度。）
far : 除特殊情況外，側重長距離。也可用作引申意義。
They live into far beyond the hill.（他們住在山那一邊很遠的地方。）
remote : 側重指離中心地有利的地方很遠。
At night I like to look at the remote stars in the clear sky.（晚上我喜歡觀看晴朗的夜空中遙遠的星星。）
dislike, hate, disgust
這些動詞均含有“不喜歡”之意。
dislike : 普通用詞，指任何程度的憎惡，但永遠指正面的憎惡和反對。
My mother dislikes our being together.（我母親不喜歡看到我們在一起。）
hate : 指因對某人或某事強烈不滿或反感，或因利害關系等而產(chǎn)生憎恨。
He hates his little sister because she destroyed all his toys.（他討厭他的小妹妹, 因為她弄壞了他所有的玩具。）
disgust : 指對令人不快、生厭或壞的東西或行為懷有強烈的憎惡。
I disgust this kind of food.（我厭惡這種食品。）
